Death of grand father

i didnt know till then whats death....(Even now)
my grand father died when i was in 4th std.
i went to school ..and at noon time my uncle(Narayanan Kutty mama) came to school to collect me
told me that grand father is not well & my father already left for valiyakunnu(Tharavadu)
we have some 40-50 km journey and all the time i was thinking about whats goiing to happen to grand father.
at last we reached valiyakunnu..There were a big crowd @ Tharavadu and my vallyamma(Fathers elder sister)
told me give water to Grand father..i did what she told few minutes after that he died..all started crying and one doctor checked him and closed his eyes....

he taught me many things.we used to spend lot of time for prayers..
he taught me mathematics..hindu praying...he used to tell me lot of stories from Mahabharata..ramayana..
he was very much devoted to rama

he was a hindi teacher and was a freedom fighter.His death created a big void to my life...which is still a dark hole....
